The audience really appriciate the traditional radiation of ‘Morgenster’. Well manoeuvrable as she is under sail she showes well close to the port. A clipperbrig performs best full rigged on the open, but even moored for the sake of good looks we host them sails. The crowd enjoyes to see these fine traditional details as deadeyes with lanyards, served shrouds and the good old capstan (the preferred seat of the violist in the shanty choir) |

Just one season under sail she has already attracted a lot attention from television and newspapers and magazines. Morgenter’s safety certificates allow her to make daytrips up to 12 miles off shore with 90 passengers. Meanwhile the galley provides the finest food. 45 persons can eat at at a time in the saloon. At a harbour festival most of our guests stay on deck for the view, so we decided to place the bar on deck as well, hurrah for the beverages. A great surface of the deck can be covered with a tent to protect from sun or rain, even when under sail. Some of the toilets can be reached from deck. During events most of the city hotels are crowded. Morgenster can relieve the pressure a little by accommodating 24 people. Normally berthed we take shore power, but if there is not enough power we are self sufficient.
